No, that was because the actual game was so dull (Hasek era Sabres vs. Hitch era Stars), I got such a stomachache thinking I should have been there in 1975 when the French Connection were flyng round the rink not watching this clutch-and-grab '90s junk.

Managed to get to a game (actually game they retired Rene Robert's # and put up the French Connection banner) at the old Aud before it "closed" and loved how steep it was in the cheap seats. Felt like you were on top of the action.

I wish they could use it again. I loved the loudness of that building. When something exciting happened like a fight or goal, there was no place for the loud noise to escape. No domed roof like the newer buildings have.
