Thank you so much for posting this video. I lived in Australia in 1977 when This is Tomorrow was a Number one hit. This video was broadcast on Countdown every Sunday evening for two months.

Australia was so fortunate to have Countdown, the precursor to MTV. I watched it just about every Sunday evening. Iam "Molly" Meldrum was wonderful.

Great to see this again - I was 14 when this came out, but I haven't seen this clip since then. I'd forgotten all about Ferry's 'sleek-sunglasses' look! I love the way he's got the band in leathers, very macho, and then two of the three backing singers arebearded men, as gay as you please, and also in leather. Ferry's sense of camp is fantastic and very funny.

I well remember the halcyonic days of countdown in Australia during the glory days of the 70s and 80s with Ian (Molly) Meldrum as the host. Sunday afternoon in OZ was always a special time as a result of Countdown. This clip was one of my favourites.

I heard "More Than This" over the p.a. system at Lowe's hardware store in Ormond Beach, Florida last year.

That's a Roxy Music song, not Ferry solo. Anyway a similar thing applies to R.M. songs - only the same two or three songs ever get a play from them on mainstream radio (and rarely if that).

I remember an audio channel on an Aer Lingus {Irish} Airline flight I took in '83 that had an hour-long interview with Bryan Ferry. That was the first I heard of "Tokyo Joe."
