FlansyLinny ::: Favorites The reason why this song has nothing to do with Illinois is because the one who wrote it, John Linnell, says he often has trouble thinking up song titles, so with this one he named after a state. He even made a whole album titled 'State songs' that have names of states, but the song has nothing to do with them.
