The RumbleSeat Coupe Has Not Been Started In Several Years. It seemed like a good as day as any to start it up. I put some gas in the tank and turned it over a few revolutions to 'Prime' the carb.. It started fairly easily considering it hasn't run in so long. This old Rumble Seat Coupe has only 56,000 original miles on it. That's about 750 miles for every year since it was new. I have only put about 35 miles on it in the last 20 years. But I do start it up every other year or so.. I thought some might enjoy seeing an original 31 Rumble Seat Coupe Starting off of the Hand Crank. I enjoy starting it this way as opposed to using it's electric starter. I always take the Hand Crank with me everywhere I take the car. Other people get a kick out of watching me sweat I guess.. Oh well, It's such a Fun Original Car. By The Way, The Music is Courtesy of Johnny and Mack circa 1930's. The song is entitled "Poison Love" It was Recorded off of an original master and converted to digital audio... |
