Description: This is our 1976 Mercury Trailtwister 440, Fan cooled T/T. It's not running normally because the throttle cable (after 31 years), has decided to fray on us, so it would stick inside, as you can see just past 40 seconds, i tap the throttle to stop it from stalling, and it sticks and the clutch almost engages, prob around 3000 rpm, sounds like 4 grand. This weekend coming up (3rd, 4th of february) i believe, (2007), i will record the Merc going down the lake at 80 mph, or my dad will, as I drive it. |
