mathiastheok ::: Favorites 2008-01-05 21:20:18 Perhaps you we're just a shitty mechanic. __________________________________________________
Troyc20 ::: Favorites 2007-12-28 07:33:40 I rather have a HUMVEE than a Jeep. You exactley right, you don't have to care about them if they are "paid for". __________________________________________________
serzhant8789 ::: Favorites 2007-12-28 00:27:40 I served in the military with unlimited budget. NO budget able to make most of 19-yrs old kids drive as adult. Add the fact that vehicle belongs to the government or 'paid for'... Then the fact that it changes those 19-yrs old drivers and mechanics many times. Add the complexity of the vehicle. Total this up and HUMMER is damn good vehicle. __________________________________________________
serzhant8789 ::: Favorites 2007-12-28 00:07:25 If Hummers are junk - then what's not? What you saying if the military buys Bentley's instead they will do better in the hands of kids? No offense - but 'kids' includes mechanics too.Did you care about these Hummers as if it was your own - I doubted... There is NO such vehicle that will survive improper driving and neglect. __________________________________________________
janipewter ::: Favorites 2007-12-27 22:06:32 no it has torsen diffs at the front and rear and a lockable center diff. it also has traction control so it will always direct power to wheels with traction. it can only get stuck if all wheels lose traction (ie all wheels are off the ground). __________________________________________________
kawasakipolaris ::: Favorites 2007-12-25 12:28:27 Don't these have Detroit lockers or E-Lockers? __________________________________________________
Troyc20 ::: Favorites 2007-12-22 22:26:06 Iam in the Army, I am a 44B and I will agree that most of these trucks are shitastic. You have to look at the civilian vs. military aspect however. The Army trucks are like taxis and used cop cars and have high miles,wear, and abuse. You know what they say, if you think it can't be broken guve it to a soldier for a day. The cicilian trucks are alot nicer and well maintaned. The military is all about stretching the dollar. __________________________________________________
HUMMER4XMORE ::: Favorites 2007-12-20 23:50:07 19veTTeman85 i own 4 H1 and one humvee. never had problem with them.. by the way one of my hummers 1997 has 273k miles.. and also army guys realy bit the sHit out of them u know that.. i know its about lowest bid. but all this trucks have to pass a hard testing be4 they give ok. __________________________________________________
19veTTeman85 ::: Favorites 2007-12-20 18:15:51 Because the military, and the us gov, are all about the lowest bidder. I'm a former army mechanic, the hummers complete junk. __________________________________________________
tpvalley ::: Favorites 2007-12-20 10:12:19 Land rovers dont have locking axle diffs, just the centre diffs lock. Can u buy uprated diffs etc for hummers? __________________________________________________
Chickenlool ::: Favorites 2007-12-20 04:26:27 yeah you reely like your H1 dont you? __________________________________________________
guy2202 ::: Favorites 2007-12-20 00:53:26 ya, the newer hummers now-a-days are all for driving around in the city...not offroading like they were originally meant for. __________________________________________________
filrocks ::: Favorites 2007-12-19 19:00:16 hummer does have a locking differential __________________________________________________
filrocks ::: Favorites 2007-12-19 18:59:59 i does have a locking differential you prs the brake and the gas at the same time and that locks it go to the first hummer video when you put hummer in the seach bar __________________________________________________
1and1is4 ::: Favorites 2007-12-18 20:04:05 Friggin garbage. I loathe independent suspension. Im really curious as to why the US MILITARY cant afford locking differentials though. __________________________________________________ |
