Description: KLTV takes another step towards the ABC O&O look, picking up the famous Eyewitness News New Generation music package heard on O&Os WABC and KABC and many other stations. KLTV premiered the new music in May as Raycom mandates that all their stations switch to Gari music by the end of 2007. In-Sink, the previous music package mandated by Liberty, was used from 2003-2007. This newscast features longtime KLTV anchor Gillian Sheridan soloing the 10pm news and East Texas' favorite weatherman, Mark Scirto. KLTV is still a strong #1 in the market even after the ownership switch. Share with friends

newsmusicnow ::: Favorites KLTV has had a sort of graphics identity crisis for awhile -- they're a former Liberty station, so the VDO graphics are still dominant on the station (orange/yellow/black graphics.) They also use an in-house variation (blue and white graphics) and for their opens and topicals, part of the Raycom package WTOL in Toledo is using. KLTV has had several bids for new graphics packages, but will probably end up going with the ugly Raycom package seen on WTOL. 07-05-21 02:28:59 _____________________________________________________

newsmusicnow ::: Favorites Before the Liberty rebrand (the graphics and KLTV7 moniker), KLTV went by "Channel 7 News" and primarily used the KABC logo (on the front of the desk and on several places on the set).
