i hope my cpu will atleast run this, dell xps gaming desktop windows vista ultimate 64 bit, ati radeon hd 2900 or r600 also nvidia 8800gt which i havent tried yet , amd turion 64x2 tl-60.

who en/developed the game ? original far cry was BY crytek ..but i think they sold their game ..and now ubi made it SUCKING BAD .. crytek had the game better than that almost 3 years ago ;)

WOW ..it RUNS on a quad core with 4gb dualcore ram and 2x 1,5gb 8800gtx ... pheeww .. i was afraid that it didnt LOL

I think it will run on your system.. Before Doom3 was released everybody thought the same thing, but actually there was no need to have the very best computer... I hope that i'm right ;)

im waiting for gigabyte p35 ds4. intel c2q q6600. zalman cnps9500led. and i have a 8800gts 640mb. my screen only have 1280x1024 so i may have everything at max with that res=) i hope so=) im a real graphics whore

It should actually run nicely. Just don't count on max. settings. ;) On the Crysis forums they have estimated the system requirements. Looking at their estimates, you'll be fine.

Crysis started development over 3years ago, way before quad-core. look at supreme commander, they claim quad support yet there is little benefit in fps, due to the extra threads being for insignificant processing such as audio. Furthermore, I've never seen a new high-end game that wasn't GPU bound, so quad might not matter.
